The Celtic Collection serves as a research and teaching resource for students and  faculty of the Celtic Studies Department, in particular.  It also contains useful resources for related disciplines.  Its mandate is to collect, preserve, and make accessible material relating to Celtic Studies.  It also contains materials, described as , Nova Scotiana and Canadiana, which require special housing.  The holdings are searchable in the Library catalogue.

All members of the university community, as well as those outside the university, are welcome to use the resources and services of the department.
