Office moves may be requested with the authorization of the Academic Vice President via the chair person. Transport will provide the services upon receipt of a Moving Request Form, which must be submitted to FM Desk.
Moving services must be requested at least 2 weeks in advance. This allows for proper co-ordination of all the details of the move and provide you with the necessary information
All filing cabinets, desks, bookshelves, etc must be completely empty. Moving these heavy items is very difficult and we require this as an effort to maximize the safety of the moving staff.
The incumbents are responsible for packing their own items. Incumbents need to have boxes packed on or before the requested move date and time. Boxes packed with books must only be 50% filled due to the weight of books.
Facilities Management provides pick-up and delivery services to the University community. The service is available 8am to 4pm Monday through Friday
