Digital Humanities Centre

What are the digital humanities?

In short, digital humanities (DH) is a capacious field where humanities research is supported or shared by the use of digital tools and projects.

The St. Francis Xavier University Digital Humanities Center is located in 408 Nicholson Tower. The space is available to be booked for teleconferencing and collaborative projects; there are tablets and laptops available for check out. Contact us at digitalhumanities@stfx.ca to book space or equipment.

We support faculty and student digital humanities research. For more on our team, see "Who we are."

The StFX Digital Humanities Center was funded by the Canada Foundation for Innovation John R. Evans Leaders Fund (CFI-JELF) and the Canada Research Chairs (CRC) program.
