Dr. Throop Robinson began teaching in elementary schools in 1989. He completed his MEd. at MSVU in Halifax, NS and his PhD. in elementary mathematics education at the University of South Australia in Adelaide. His work has taken him to Belize, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana where he supports teacher training and curriculum developers in mathematics education. He moved to Antigonish in 2016 where he lives with his partner Jacqueline and their two children, Taylor and Jamie.
