What is sexual assualt?

Sexual assault is an act in which a person sexually touches another person without that person’s consent, or coerces or physically forces a person to engage in a sexual act against their will. St. Francis Xavier University does not tolerate sexual violence. The Sexual Violence Policy outlines the University’s response protocol to sexual violence involving student’s, it provides information about resources and supports that are available for students, and clearly defines reporting procedures. It can be found here.
