Residents are responsible for cleaning their own rooms, and are expected to keep their rooms and common areas in such a manner to comply with University standards of health and safety. Common areas such as shared washrooms and lounges in traditional style residences are cleaned by staff. Common areas such as washrooms, kitchens, and lounges in suite and apartment style are the responsibility of the students.
Laundry rooms are provided in each hall for your convenience. Each student living in residence is charged a flat fee for laundry. This fee is $125 and will give you unlimited access to the laundry machines in your building. Be careful not to overload these machines, as that may cause damage that prevents other students from using them. Please treat these facilities with respect. The University is not responsible for any damaged, stolen or lost items.
