Degree/Diploma Parchment Replacement

If you lost or damaged your parchment you can request a replacement by submitting the Diploma or Degree Parchment Replacement form below. The new parchment will be marked as a certified copy with the date on which it was reprinted and with the signatures of current university officials. The University does not issue duplicate parchments.

Complete and submit the Diploma or Degree Parchment Replacement form by email, fax, mail or in person. Only the recipient of the original parchment can request a replacement.

PLEASE NOTE: If you require proof that you have been awarded a degree or diploma from St. Francis Xavier University, you may also request your transcript of academic record (applicable fees will apply) or request a confirmation of graduation letter (no charge). Copies of actual degree or diploma parchments are not required by most organizations, only proof that you have been awarded a degree or diploma.

Confirmation of graduation letters may be requested by email: registr@stfx.ca. Include your full name, student ID number (if available), date of birth, year of graduation and degree earned. The letter can be faxed, mailed or picked up at the Registrar's Office.

Note: Parchments and confirmation of graduation letters will not be released if there is an outstanding balance on your student account. Contact Accounting Services, aservice@stfx.ca

StFX degree parchments are issued in Latin.
