Initially named Senior Weekend Committee - name changed by Administrative Committee, February 4, 1987
Established January 1987* by the President on the recommendation of the Administrative Committee and given a three year mandate. In May 1989 on the recommendation of the Administrative Committee, established as a standing committee.
1. To create a spirit of collegiality among the graduates in which to reminisce over their experiences at St. F. X. and to make their farewells to friends and associates;
2. To create an environment that will set the tone for Convocation and evoke the special meaning of this day among graduates along with their friends and families;
3. To confirm their future connections with the university as alumni;
The Committee is to report to the Administrative Committee at the end of each year.
