Pension Plan Committee

The terms of the pension plan arrangement (early 1980) with Confederation Life require that the university shall appoint a committee representative of the various groups of employees, which committee shall meet at least once in each Plan Year. The Board of Governors shall consult with the committee before making any amendments to the Plan. The committee may make recommendations to the Board concerning the Plan.

Personnel Advisory Committee

To advise and make recommendations on all aspects regarding the administration of the Academic and Administrative Support Staff Personnel Manual.

a) To act as a means of communication between support staff and administration.
b) To provide a mechanism for handling of support staff grievances.
c) To make recommendations to administration on behalf of support staff in matters relating to conditions of employment.

Public Affairs Committee

University President
University Vice-Presidents
Director of Development
Director of University Advancement

1. To meet on a somewhat regular, though not necessarily frequent, basis to discuss issues relating to our various publics, especially "external" publics.

2. To be a forum through which each member can bring to the fore how his area of responsibility impacts to others.

3. To be concerned with policy rather than procedures.
