Get a StFX Library Card

Library Card

Your StFX ID (not exactly as shown!) is your Library Card.  All students, staff and faculty must have the barcode number (21993...) from their ID card before beginning the library registration process. 

To obtain your StFX ID card*, visit the StFX Safety & Security Services office. 

*Graduate or undergraduate distance students not able to obtain an ID card in person can contact StFX Safety & Security Services at security@stfx.ca. Please include a photo to be used on your ID card, copy of photo government ID, Student ID number and your mailing address.  To ensure a speedy library registration, please ask for your Novanet number to be provided to you right away during your application.

Submit the appropriate form from the options below or visit the Access Services Desk to activate your account.

*Members of the general public wishing to register as an Off-Campus Borrower (OCB) must do so in-person at the Access Services desk.  Please remember to bring 2 pieces of government issue ID, with at least one that includes a picture.
