Food For Fines

Novanet Consortial Campaign: Semi-annual drive for 3 weeks, beginning in February and October (exact dates TBA)

  • $3 Waived per item donated*
  • No limit on the amount of fines that can be waived
  • All proceeds to the StFX Student Food Resource Centre (SFRC)
  • Donate cash payments in lieu of food to the SFRC

*Valid for fines at participating institutions only.  Please check with Access Services staff for a complete list of participating schools.

Exceptions:

  • Applicable to fines only.  Replacement charges do not qualify for the Food for Fines program.
  • Mr. Noodles or similar product: a donation of 4 individual packages will be considered 1 item.
  • Fines must be waived in full - e.g. $4 in fines will require a donation of 2 items (2 x $3).  Change will not be provided for the difference between the donated value and amount of fines owing.

StFX FFF Campaign: Year-round

  • $3 Waived per item donated*
  • No limit on the amount of fines that can be waived
  • $5 Waived per item donated from the 10 Most Wanted List (full list below)*
  • Partial waiving of fines will be permitted on StFX fines
  • All proceeds to the StFX Student Food Resource Centre (SFRC)
  • Donate cash payments in lieu of food to the SFRC

*Valid for fines originating from StFX only.
