Upddate - Digital Collections Access

Since the hack of the University’s systems and subsequent shutdown of our local servers in November of 2018, library staff have been working to restore access to our digital collections (yearbooks, StFX publications, theses, etc.) as quickly as possible.  We would like to advise the campus community and patrons that the migration of these collections to a more secure and stable host continues.

To date, we have been able to bring the majority of Gael Stream, our Cape Breton Folklore Collection back online and we are now focusing our efforts on our other collections.  We are not able to provide a definite timeframe as to when these collections will be available, but we will strive to provide more updates on our progress.  Should you have a need for a specific, known item within one of the affected collections, please contact Margaret Vail at mvail@stfx.ca for assistance.
