 New Faculty Orientation 2018

The new faculty orientation day will be held on Thursday, August 30th in Room 202 of the St.FX Library.  The FDC organizes this event every year as a welcome to new faculty.  We provide a friendly and inviting forum for the dissemination of information about various people, services and resources at StFX.  New faculty and teaching staff will have an opportunity to meet people from across campus as well as other new faculty.

 August Teaching Retreat 2018

The Fourth Annual August Teaching Retreat will be held on Wednesday, August 29th beginning at 8:30 am, location TBA.  We provide a friendly and inviting forum for the dissemination of information about teaching and learning at StFX.  New, relatively new, and seasoned teaching staff and faculty will have an opportunity to listen to our peers and share ideas.  The theme for this year is Teaching with Impact.

Upcoming FDC Events

The FDC plans to hold Brown Bag Lunches to discuss various topics.  If there is a topic you would like to see, please let us know.  We will be posting a schedule soon.
