Workplace Diversity Questionnaire

We need every employee to complete the Workplace Diversity Questionnaire.

St FX has commissioned Corporate Research Associates to conduct a survey among employees on its behalf. The purpose of this survey is to understand employee views of diversity levels within the University’s employee base.

St FX strives to be a welcoming community, reflective of the diversity of the modern world and strengthened by our differences. The University is committed to providing opportunities for members of all communities to participate, engage and belong. We believe that a diverse workforce improves the representation and success of students from marginalized groups, and prepares all our students to become global citizens.

Equity groups continue to be underrepresented and marginalized in the workforce. It is important that the university is aware of barriers or gaps that exist within our policies, processes and culture. These barriers are not always obvious or intentional, making them hard to identify and address.

The equity data collected in this survey will be used to identify challenges at St FX and help inform practices for making StFX a safe and welcoming place to work, live and study.

Please be assured that your name and answers will be kept strictly confidential and the results of the survey will not be delivered to StFX in any way that would allow them to identify you or your answers.  Aggregate data will be provided to Human Rights, Human Resources, and the EAC Committee, to help establish equity, diversity an inclusion goals and plans.

Everyone completing the survey will have the opportunity to be entered into a draw for a $200 Visa Gift Card. The survey should take less than five (5) minutes to complete. If you need to leave the survey before you finish it, click on the survey link above to bring you back to the survey.

Please complete the survey no later than April 18, 2019.

If you would like to complete the survey in an alternate format, have questions about the survey or would like to confirm its validity, please contact Megan Fogarty, Human Rights & Equity Advisor at or 902-867-5306.

Should you require any technical help in accessing or completing the survey, please contact by email.
