Bachelor of Science - Major

 

  •     6 Credits of introductory (100 or 120);
  •     3 credits of analytical (265);
  •     3 credits of inorganic (245); 6 credits of organic (220);
  •     3 credits physical (231);
  •     3 credits Organic Structural Methods (325 - required in the junior year);
  •     6 credits of chemistry electives from 255, 321, 322, 331, 332 (232 required for the last two), 355 (255 required), 361, 362, 421, 422, 451, 452; and
  •     6 credits of CHEM or another science (36 credits total),
  •     plus the non-credit seminar courses 391 (junior year) and -starting in 20008/09- 491 (senior year).

Major students are required to attend all department seminars during their junior and senior years.
